Community Centre of Trutnov region was handed over to the investor
A new community centre UFFO was handed over to the investor of the project -Trutnov Town, today.
The managing director of BAK, Mr. Dusan Cizek and the mayor of Trutnov Mr. Ivan Adamec met in the premises of the new theatre where they signed a document handing over this important town building. The project of building a new cultural centre was started in October 2008 by the ceremonial knock on the foundation- stone. Since then nineteen months have passed and a new theatre that will serve not only the citizens of Trutnov is here. The long-awaited building will certainly bring not only a better quality of cultural life for the people of the Trutnov region but also many other opportunities, for example holding conferences and other activities that this multifunctional site makes possible.
The new building of the multifunctional theatre will provide a space for theatre performances, entertainment programs, concerts, community evenings and balls. For different activities it will be used by various associations, non-profit groups, youth organizations and schools. The main hall with a capacity of from 390 to 640 spectators will be adaptable and it can be adjusted for classical theatre, conferences or balls. On the second floor there are located large studios, the third floor will be for theatre employees and also facilities for sound engineers, illuminators and interpreters. Two cafés will be available for visitors.
