Project characteristics

The project follows up already finished construction; part of the project consists in reconstruction, another part in construction of new structure. The project will be executed in different stages under full operation. There will be partial construction modifications of the existing production building – new disposition of machines in current packaging department and changes in current expedition department. There will be also modifications of current roof extension over the packaging department and annexes – warehouse, extension of expedition department with the modification of entrance premises. Also the communications will be modified accordingly. The extension of production premises will not increase the capacity of production but it will improve the quality and efficiency of packaging, warehousing and expedition processes of existing production site.

The extension of built-in area is 2.450 sqm with height 18,4 m. The construction system is made of steel construction, metal cladding and structured roof. The floor is made of wire-concrete with food industry surface painting. The whole space will be refrigerated to 3 – 5 degrees Celsius. The warehouse will be equipped with rack system. The execution time of the project is 160 days.

The flagship product of Kostelec is cured salami with natural fine mould on the surface.
