The construction of the Charles University Campus in Hradec Králové is in full swing. In August 2023, we officially took over the construction site for the “MEPHARED 2” project, which is among the most important projects in the Czech Republic.
In the smaller “Central Building”, we have completed the reinforced concrete monolithic structure and are currently working on the roof envelope. Masonry work in the lower sections is being finalized, and gypsum plastering is underway.
In the “Faculty Building”, which will house educational and research departments, lecture halls, a library, and other facilities, the monolithic structure is nearing completion. The installation of the building envelope is in progress, and work has also begun on the vapor barrier insulation of the roof structure.
In the basement of both buildings, utility installations are being actively carried out. In the “Central Building”, masonry work is complete, and rough HVAC installations are in progress. In the basement of the “Faculty Building”, backfilling of technological channels and masonry work are underway, while preparations are being made in the energy center for the installation of machinery that will provide construction site heating for the winter of 2024/2025.
